It’s time to say good –bye

Our year has come to an end

I ‘ve made more cherished memories

And many more new friends.

I’ve watched your child learn and grow

And change from day to day.

I hope that all the things that we have done

Have helped in some small way.

So it’s with happy memories

I send them out of the door

With great hopes and expectations

For what next year hold in store.

 Children created posters to spread awareness about conversation of plants using the skills learnt in ICT .

Guest Speaker

In connection to our current unit ‘Sharing the planet’, we had a guest speaker Mr. Abhimanyu Das Gupta who our PYP Coordinator. He gave a presentation on different ways of taking care of plants. He introduced the children to the fact that plants grow well if they are nurtured with love and care. He sensitized the students towards being gentle while touching plants. We all visited the Herbal Garden of the school,  children observed the plants using all  5 senses.

Children referred to the list of animals and sorted them into ‘Herbivores’, Carnivores’ and ‘Omnivores’ through a pictograph.

They also plotted their favourite food on a pictograph.

Children showed their understanding of  Food Chain through role play.
